I think this was the most know hit by Edwin Start but he didn’t compose it (Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong are the only responsibles), even though he contributed with his voice and personal staging (which ,sometimes, is even more important than any other thing - current pop world takes care of it - ).

Each time I listen to it I remember the funny Rush Hour‘s scene where Chris Tucker is teaching Jackie Chan how to sing it right… memorable.
