Ya han publicado álbum! (Gracias a Manu por la info). Y por fin me puedo auto-responder a la pregunta que tuve hace tiempo: ¿Son Justice los nuevos Daft Punk?

Después de escucharme este disco sin parar no pocas veces (el cual si no lo tienes ya estás tardando; y sí Peter puedes ir diciendo por ahí que sí chulos porque es un discazo) y la sesión del Essential Mix (una auténtica joyita) la conclusión es que NO. ¿Significa eso que no son buenos? Pues tampoco. La realidad es que son completamente distintos, pero igual de buenos (o de muy buenos, cabría decir). Cada uno tiene su estilo propio, pero igualmente atractivo y adictivo (ahora es cuando me acuerdo de aquel día que actuaron en el Low Club mientras yo estaba de exámenes).

Sin duda este duo tiene un futuro prometedor. No sólo lo opino yo, sino también el titto Pete Tong al principio del Essential Mix (y muchos otros):

This week we’ve probably the most influential duo to come out of France since Daft Punk. Two former graphic designers who can affiliate to produce records, and we’re glad they did. They come from the red-hot Ed Records Label out of Paris and even thought they only formed a couple of years ago they’ve already clubbed up some epic tacks: like Waters of Nazareth, the current monster D.A.N.C.E. and of course Never Be Alone which win on to become that soundcrash with Simian.

This is gonna be french electronic independent “par excellence” . Please welcome Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé. They are Justice.
